Mark C. Batson, M.B.A.

Policy Bridge’s, Executive Director, Mark Batson is one of the co-founders of the organization and has greatly contributed to all research efforts, and the planning of policy forums, workshops, and collaborations.  Mr. Batson has been instrumental in all aspects of the growth and development of PolicyBridge.  He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration (BBA) from Kent State University (1986) and a MBA from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management (2000).  His most recent employment includes positions as Chief of Staff of the Ohio Department of Health, CEO of Akron Community Health Resources, and COO of NEON Health Services of Cleveland.  Mr. Batson also worked with the City of Cleveland’s Office of Equal Opportunity, Huntington National Bank, the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and Mid-America Consulting Group.  Over the past twenty years Mr. Batson has had success managing entities in the healthcare, information technology and economic development industries in private industry, not-for-profit and government sectors.  He is known for successfully fostering growth and development in very challenging work environments.  Mr. Batson volunteers on various boards and committees focused primarily on community development, economic development, and information technology.
