One of Mt. Pleasant Community Zone’s main organizational goals is to expand the value of educational opportunities and benefits available to community residents resulting in an increased number of graduates with viable options for pursuing life-long learning, career goals, or entrepreneurial opportunities. The organization offers many unique educational programs and activities to meet this goal including literacy and math tutoring, an in-school anger management curriculum, community training efforts and summer camp and job experiences.

The Boys and Girls Club can play an important role in your educational journey. Their unique programs and services are invaluable, including:
- Power Hour Homework help and tutoring program offered daily to raise academic proficiency of members ages 6–12.
- Achievement Plus Academic assistance program that closely mirrors the Cleveland Metropolitan School District's (CMSD) core curriculum and provides youth with year-round educational support.
- Goals For Graduation Academic goal setting program for students ages 6–15. In one-on-one sessions with Club professionals, members set goals and action plans.

The Discovery Center offers many excellent after school programs, including homework support and Youth Outdoors. Students also have access to a computer lab and Spanish classes.

This family and community resource center provides a number of educational services designed to strengthen the fabric of the Mt. Pleasant community. These services include a 21st-century Community Learning Center designed to improve the academic performance of neighborhood schools’ students through after school and summer enrichment activities.

The Thea Bowman Center’s mission is to be an ongoing beacon of hope to the Mt. The Center offers a computer lab for children with after school hours and a variety of recreational activities.
