What is PolicyBridge ?
PolicyBridge is a 501c (3) non-partisan public policy think tank based in Northeast Ohio. Our key objective is to
monitor urban policy issues and inform regional public policy debates by framing issues of relevance to the
minority community.
What are the expected outcomes of PolicyBridge?
To provide ongoing analysis of public policy, with an emphasis on monitoring urban policy issues that affect the
quality of life in minority communities. This monitoring and analysis will provide:
:: Amalgamation of intellectual capital
:: A sense of hope and empowerment in minority communities
:: Advocacy support and leadership for critical public policy issues
:: Realization of synergies between and/or amongst community organizations
:: Ongoing dialogue with minority groups and policy makers
:: Expanded minority participation in economic and workforce development
Why a think tank?
Currently there is a void in the region and the need is great. At this time, no African American organization in
Northeast Ohio has at its core a primary focus to inform, educate, and illuminate the region’s minority
community about Greater Cleveland’s public policy issues and challenges through rigorous research, analysis, assessment, and information dissemination to the minority community.
